I have been painting for several years. As a child, I attended a painting course, but at that time, I did not yet realize the significance that painting would later hold for me.
I resumed painting at the age of 22, during a pivotal moment in my life when I needed to decide the direction I wanted to pursue. I chose to follow my heart, which led me to live abroad.
I lived in Germany and later moved to Austria. At 26, I received an offer to open my own gallery in the heart of Prague. As a true Czech, I love our capital city. It is the most beautiful city in the world, and anyone who has visited Prague will understand what I mean. I managed the gallery on my own, and with the support of my friends and family, I built a successful business within six months.
Unfortunately, something unexpected occurred—the COVID-19 pandemic. I attempted to keep the gallery running for another six months, but it became impossible. Then, through a friend, I received an offer to work in Switzerland. I had never dreamed of living in such a beautiful country. I spent the first two years in the mountains of Davos. Surrounded by stunning scenery and fresh air, I embarked on a new direction in my painting.
Now, I reside in the German-speaking region of Switzerland and paint in my spare time. In the future, I would like to open a studio. The most important thing is that I always paint what fulfills me.
